云南省生物大数据重点实验室依托云南农业大学建设发展，充分利用云南生物多样性资源优势，围绕云南中草药生物资源及其健康大数据，以云南特色生物资源为切入点，以基因组为核心技术，重点开展云药资源和经济作物基因组、转录组大数据开发工作，在云南建设世界药用植物大数据库。实验室建立了生物信息分析平台，总计算机核心超过1600个，总内存超过8Tb，存储达到了200Tb，拥有Ion S5、BGI-SEQ 500RS测序仪，同时具有一支由农学、生物学、药学、遗传学、计算机、生物信息学等学科构成的研究队伍。实验室成员近年共发表文章67篇，其中相关SCI论文53篇。其中有关葡萄遗传资源论文发表于《科学》杂志。获得云南省科技进步特等奖、科学技术杰出贡献奖、云岭学者、云南省中青年学术和技术带头人后备人才等荣誉称号。

Introduction

The Yunnan Provincial Key Laboratory ofBiologicalBig Data is constructed and developed with the support of Yunnan Agricultural University. It makes full use of the advantages of Yunnan's biodiversity resources, focuses on Yunnan's traditional Chinese herbal plant resources and its potential health benefits, takes Yunnan's characteristic biological resources as the entry point, and takes genome as the core technology. The laboratory carries out the analyses of Yunnan local herbal plant resources and economic crop genomes and transcriptomes, and builds a large database of medicinal plants in Yunnan. The laboratory has established a biological information analysis platform with more than 1,600 computer cores, a memory of more than 8Tb, and a storage of 200Tb. It has Ion S5, BGI-SEQ 500RS sequencer, and a team of researchers in agronomy, biology, pharmacy, genetics, computer science, bioinformatics and other disciplines. In recent years, members of the laboratory have published 67 research articles, including 53 SCI papers, including a grapevine resource paper in Science,and won honorary titles such as Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award, Yunling Scholar, Yunnan Province Young Academic and Technical Leader Reserve Talents, and so on.
